NEXT YEAR'S POSTER BELOW: DETAILS TO FOLOW

ITINERARY -- SUBJECT TO CHANGE -- HERE'S THE TE NTATIVE 2010 TRIP ITINERARY -- LOTS MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW

Wednesday, September 22 - 6:10pm flight on US Airways to Philadelphia and on to Dublin Airport. You'll need to check in at the airport by 4:00pm, to make sure there are no problems along the way. We'll be waiting for you in the Frank & Theresa's Anchor Bar nearest the US Airways gate.

Thursday, September 23 - Arrive Dublin at 8:30am, we'll be met by the one and only Dave Spillane, our guide and driver for the week, then pile into the luxury coach for the drive to Belfast. We'll be staying at the Jury's Inn in the center of Downtown Belfast. Lunch at the Rose & Crown, then all day and evening to tour historic Belfast.

Friday, September 24 - Off in the morning for a two-hour drive to Derry City, Northern Ireland. We'll arrive in time for an escorted tour of the city and its ancient wall with well-known historian Martin McCrossan. Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet the Lord Mayor, but we'll definitely meet Eamon McCourt from Guinness, who will escort us to Madigan's for a party with the Derry City Football Club boosters. We'll stay at the City Hotel, I believe, for two nights.

Saturday, September 25 - Optional day trip through the north coast of Northern Island, with stops at the Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge in County Antrim. Back in Derry City for the evening, with some great pubs to choose from, including the famous Peador O'Donnell's and the Gweedwore Bar, just a block from the hotel.

Sunday, September 26 -- All aboard for a trip to Westport, County Mayo. Maybe a stop for lunch on the ocean at the Strand outside of Sligo, if Mick will have us! Then on to beautiul Westport for a two-night stay. Hotel to be determined.  You may want to visit Croagh Patrick, one of Europe's best know places of Pilgrimage, which has provided a tough ascent for many pilgrims each year, climbing barefoot in the memory of St. Patrick, who spent forty days and forty nights fasting on the summit more than 1,500 years ago. A small church at the summit of the mountain welcomes penitents, while magnificent views of Clew Bay, with an island for every day of the year, provides inspiration for many walkers and visitors throughout the year.

Monday, September 27- Another day and night in and around Westport. Great traditional music town, including Matt Malloy's Pub. (Chieftain's) Optional day trip to be determined. Staying at the Clew Bay Hotel.

Tuesday, September 28 - Off to Galway City for two great days and nights of shopping, pubbing and touring.

Wednesday, September 29 - A full day in Galway.

Thursday, September 30 - Early morning ... we have to drive cross-country back to the Dublin Airport this morning. A two-plus hour trip on the new highway, through the midlands of Ireland, you won't miss too much if you catch some sleep. Then we board for an 11am flight, getting back in Buffalo in the late afternoon/early evening.
