German American Musicians Band -- 2-4 PM

Organized in 1933, the German-American Musicians Association, Inc. has been dedicated to the preservation of German and Austrian traditional music for over 73 years.

The exciting German-American Musicians Blaskapelle keeps the dance floor full and the beer flowing with a fast-paced selection of festive party music! Waltzes, Rheinlanders, polkas, and traditional Latin favorites from a huge repertory delight audiences of all ages -- all played with authentic German-Austrian verve and style!

The German-American Musicians groups have delighted devotees of traditional German and Austrian music for over 74 years, not only in Western New York, but also all over the Northeast, in Canada, and even in Germany and Austria!

The Frankfurters -- 4-7 PM

Well known as the best German-American Show Band in the Buffalo, NY area, The Frankfurters, bring to the stage a wealth of musical experience, German traditions, and high-impact entertainment in an exciting stage show for the entire family!

Drawing from centuries-old Bavarian, Tyrolean, and Swiss folk traditions, The Frankfurters' colorful show features thrilling demonstrations on hand-carved wooden Swiss Alphorns, the haunting Singing-Saw, the Swiss Hackbrett and Alpine bell ringing, along with yodeling and lots of good, old-fashioned German “Gemutlichkeit.”

The hall rocks and the dance floor is full as The Frankfurters deliver a fast-paced selection of authentic German dancing and singing tunes from one of the widest repertoires of German show bands on either side of the Atlantic!

From Rochester and points east:

Take the NYS Thruway I-90 West

Take the I-290 West toward Niagara Falls

Take I-290 West to 990 North

Take 990 to the end, which is Millersport Highway

Make a left onto Millersport

Travel one mile and take the second left onto New Road

Take New Road for the next two miles

The Museum is on the corner of Tonawanda Creek Road and New Road, on your left.

 

From Buffalo and points south:

Take the I-90 North to the I-290 West toward Niagara Falls

Take I-290 West to 990 North

Take 990 to the end, which is Millersport Highway

Make a left onto Millersport

Travel one mile and take the second left onto New Road

Take New Road for the next two miles

The Museum is on the corner of Tonawanda Creek Road and New Road, on your left.

DIRECTIONS

From Niagara Falls and points northwest or west:

Take I-90 South to I-290 East (Exit 16)

Go just past the Route 62/Niagara Falls Blvd. Exit

Take the next exit onto the 990 toward Lockport

Take 990 to the end, which is Millersport Highway

Make a left onto Millersport

Travel one mile and take the second left onto New Road

Take New Road for the next two miles

The Museum is on the corner of Tonawanda Creek Road and New Road, on your left.

 

From Lockport vicinity:

Take Transit Road south and travel past the first Tonawanda Creek Road (this road is still in Niagara County)

Cross over the creek

Take the next right onto Tonawanda Creek Road in Erie County

Take Tonawanda Creek Road about five miles to the first stop sign, which is at New Road.

The Museum is on the corner of Tonawanda Creek Road and New Road.
